What is AptDeco's selling fee?

Listing is always free - there is no risk to try and turn that sofa into cash!

When your item sells, you keep between 40-70% of the sale price. The rest covers AptDeco’s seller fee, and all of the services that we provide.

What are those services?

A qualified buyer, fast. We source buyers through targeted advertising, curation, and our own customer base. You're not managing Craigslist inquiries, flaky leads, or lowballs. We handle buyer vetting so you sell to someone who will actually commit.

Logistics that work. We own the logistics coordination from pickup to delivery. That includes professional handling, light assembly, scheduling coordination, and any required insurance coverage, ensuring your pre-loved item makes it to its new home safely. We also make sure that our amazing team earns a fair wage.

Payment processing and fraud protection. Credit card processing, payment disputes, and chargeback risk — we absorb those costs so you get paid quickly and safely.

Customer service, seven days a week. A buyer has questions? A delivery needs rescheduling? We field it. You're not managing buyer communications or logistics emergencies at 8 p.m. on a Saturday.

The real comparison. If you were selling on your own, you'd spend 10–20 hours managing photos, fielding inquiries, arranging logistics, and managing a stranger's money. You'd pay for photography, shipping, or professional movers. You'd carry liability risk. Our fee is the price of not doing any of that — and the peace of mind that comes with it.
